Terms of Service

These terms govern use of this privately run Lubbock County public-records reference. Do not use the service if these terms are not acceptable.

This private service has no affiliation with a government body, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. Neither it nor its advertising or search partners provides a consumer-reporting service under the FCRA, and it is not a private investigation firm.

Nature of the Service

The service is an informational reference to official Lubbock County, Texas, and federal resources. It stores no official roster, cannot confirm custody, release a person, or file a request, and does not make a public office’s statement. Links to outside research tools are provided for convenience only.

Permitted Use

Use the service lawfully and with respect for other people and systems.

  • Do not harass, stalk, threaten, or harm another person.
  • Do not seek unauthorized access to this service or another system.
  • Do not interfere with access, introduce harmful code, or run automated scraping.
  • Do not use information for a prohibited consumer-reporting purpose.
  • Do not violate an applicable law, regulation, or court order.

FCRA Restrictions

The service and its partners are not consumer reporting agencies and do not supply consumer reports. You agree not to use content for a decision covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including a decision about employment, housing or tenant screening, credit, insurance, licensing, permits, government-program eligibility, or a comparable purpose.

External Resources and Warranties

Links may lead to government portals, search providers, legal resources, or other destinations. Their uptime, content, privacy rules, and results are their responsibility. The service is provided as is and as available, without a warranty of accuracy, completeness, currency, security, uninterrupted access, or fit for a particular purpose. Custody and case information can change quickly.

Liability and Indemnity

To the fullest extent Texas law permits, the operators are not liable for loss or damage arising from access to, use of, or inability to use the service or an outside destination. You agree to defend and hold the operators harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use or breach of these terms.

Ownership, Changes, and Access

The text, design, logos, graphics, and code belong to Lubbock County Busted Mugshots or its content partners and may not be copied, distributed, or altered without written permission. These terms may change when posted, and access may be limited or ended at any time. Texas law governs these terms, and disputes must be brought in Texas courts. If one provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue in effect with only the needed adjustment.
